There's nothing new yet on the NCVA Power League front as of today. The qualifiers for all age groups will take place at The Grounds in Roseville on the weekend of September 14th/15th. I'm still waiting to find out which clubs are staying with NCVA, even to know if some are going to try to do both leagues. The largest of the clubs in the Section that it's clear will only be participating in the NCVA is Rage VBC. I also did not see Golden State VBC, Stockton Aces VBC, Dynamix VBC, or Club Solano VBC on the list of teams competing in the upcoming WCVBA league. I assume all those clubs will be joining Rage in the NCVA Power League. Whether any of the other local clubs try to double-dip is as yet unclear. I have heard a rumor that some or all of the Core teams may be trying to play in both. I haven't heard much more than that, though.

The pools and schedules have been posted for all age groups for this weekend's qualifying event. The qualifier will be played over both days of the weekend that The Grounds in Roseville. Here is a link to the TM2Sign website: tm2sign.com/app/event/1784. |

Looking through the schedule at the list of clubs participating in the NCVA Power Leagues this fall, I noticed the following Sac-Joaquin Section clubs: Rage VBC, Golden State VBC, Stockton Aces VBC, Club Solano, Manteca Flight VBC, Dynamix VBC, and Los Banos Power VBC. Los Banos Power is a new one. I'm looking forward to seeing them play. I also saw a club listed as "OVA". I believe that is the Olympus VBC that is located in the Sacramento area. I will confirm that this weekend. I intend to watch the action on at least Saturday this weekend. I may be there both days. Can't wait to see how all these local clubs look.
