This was a pretty big event that included both a boys tournament and girls tournament at The Grounds in Roseville. The girls tournament was massive, surrounding the courts on which the boys were playing pretty much the whole time. For the boys, there were three age groups (U14, U16, and U18). Teams from clubs in the Sac-Joaquin Section won all three age groups. I've presented the results below for the local teams, by order of finish, in each age group. Next the age group, I have the total number of teams (in parentheses) that competed in each group. I've also included each teams' overall won-loss record for the weekend. Here are those results:

1. Omni 14-1 National, 6-0 record

As I posted in the results for the NCVA Summer Kickoff, the NCVC 18s entered and won both tournaments. Keep in mind they did with squads of 6 or 7 players on Sunday at each venue. I'll get into a little more detail about what I saw from them in a future post. Also impressive was the showing of the Aspire 15s, who moved all the way up to the 17/18 age group and came very close to making it to the championship match of the age group. They did lose a match to NCVC in pool play on Saturday. I'll write a little more specifically about what I saw from them in that upcoming post. I spent a lot of time watching younger teams (15s and 16s), who I will provide some thoughts on. Stay tuned for all that.
